Pack a picnic and head across to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to kick start an amazing summer.
To celebrate the forthcoming Rio Olympics and Paralympics games you will be able to watch and take park in a range of Rio themed activities brining Brazil to the park through carnival arts, music, dance and food. There will also be a vintage area to enjoy all things British to help celebrate the Queen’s Birthday.
The afternoon will be packed full of activities:
- Stage – with dance performances from Sadler’s Well Company Wayne McGregger, the London School of Samba and Brazillian musicians.
- Carnival arts – mask making, facepainting, parades and roaming performers.
- Rio themed games area
- Swing dance area
- Vintage games
- Story telling
- Land train
- Street food
- And lots more…

Where on the park?
The event is held on the North Park of the Olympic Park. This is not too far from the Copper Box and iCity (the old Broadcast centre). It is about 20 mins walk from Stratford station or you can hop on the 388 bus for a couple of stops. Click images below for more details.
