Communities were given the right to develop Neighbourhood Plans in 2011, through the Localism Act.
This is a powerful way for us to set out a community-based vision for our area and to determine the kind of development that may occur here in the future.
What difference will it make?
Once adopted, Neighbourhood Plans become part of the planning authority’s Local Plan.
The London Legacy Development Corporation is our local planning authority.
Greater Carpenters Neighbourhood Forum (GCNF) holds regular meetings, has recently held two full day events and is asking local people to complete questionnaires to help us to ensure our Neighbourhood Plan policy is informed by local views and concerns and is widely supported.
Take our questionnaire.
